We are very pleased to introduce our latest Summit addition, Warren W.C. Woo, Barrister & Solicitor.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Warren obtained a Bachelor of Arts in political science at the University of British Columbia. Following his undergraduate studies, Warren completed his law degree at the University of Alberta. Warren articled at a downtown Calgary law firm and was called to the Alberta bar in 2008. During his studies, Warren was an executive council member of Access Justice Canada, and an active volunteer with Student Legal Services of Edmonton and the Law Students Legal Advise Program of UBC.
Early in his career, Warren practiced in a variety of areas including commercial litigation, construction law, personal injury, energy, employment law and real estate litigation before turning his focus to real estate conveyancing, and estate planning. Prior to joining SUMMIT LEGAL GROUP, Warren practiced as sole practitioner as the owner of Aspen Law from 2010-2019. Warren has extensive experience in residential real estate matters and strives to provide efficient and practical estate planning advice.
When not providing clients with exceptional legal services, Warren enjoys spending time with his wife and young son.
Q. If you were an ice cream, what flavour would you be?
A. Chocolate because it’s hard to ever be sick of me!
Q. What is your favourite movie?
A. Terminator 2: Judgment Day because I’m an action/sci-fi nerd. Maybe The Godfather as my 1(a) choice
Q Why did you decide to become a Lawyer/work in Law?
A. Not a lot of career options for a Poli Sci major haha! Also, worked in Hong Kong at a few law firms back in 2004 and found it really interesting
Q. What is your favourite Lawyer joke?
A. "I'm beginning to think that my lawyer is too interested in making money."

"Listen to this from his bill: 'For waking up at night and thinking about your case: $250."
Q. If your life was a book, what would the title be?
A. The Gentle Giant

A. Creative Writing
Q. If you had a Saturday all to yourself, what would you do?
A. Sleep in, maybe go for a drive to the Rockies and a hike and nice dinner – or just catch up on movies or watch sports.
Q. What job would you be terrible at?
A. Accountant or anything science or math-related
Q. What is your favourite TV Show?
A. All-time? Probably Breaking Bad or The Sopranos. Current = Game of Thrones
Q. What is the luckiest thing that has happened to you?
A. Meeting Sean and Roshanne! Lol – seriously, getting married to my wife and building a family and life for ourselves!
